Talkin' Trash - Tech Comes From Behind

Just as I wrote my scathing indictment of Yellow Jacket basketball last month, dang if Tech didn’t win 6 of 8, including a win in the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) tournament. A come-from-behind win against rival Clemson.

We were down 18 points with eight minutes to go. In a way that game told something about this team’s season. No matter how down or far behind they got, they never quit. They also made the National Invitation Tournament (NIT). If not for a few horrible end-of-game collapses, they very well may have made the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA). As of my writing, they won their first round game of the NIT. All that being said, I still think it’s time for a change, but I will always pull for MA Tech.

Tech’s baseball team got off to a great start. 13-0 and rising to #13 in the rankings. This is a relatively young team. It looks like Danny Hall has got another great team on the horizon. If you haven’t ever made it out to Russ Chandler Stadium, it’s a great venue and a great product. I suggest you go.
