The Board of Directors of Family Promise of NewRock (“FPNR”) is pleased to announce that Jackie Sprague has been named as the new Executive Director. Jackie has been serving as the Executive Director of the Conyers-Rockdale Council for the Arts (“CRCA”) since 2008. In addition, Jackie has been an active part of the Rockdale community through various organizations including Kiwanis, Rotary and Leadership Rockdale.
FPNR Board Chair Michael Hutcheson states, “Jackie is a very warm-hearted, caring person with lots of experience in nonprofit leadership. We are very grateful to have her as our new Director.”
“We wish Jackie well in her new position with one of the most dynamic organizations in our community,” said Caroline Bradberry, CRCA’s Board Chair. During the transition following Ms. Sprague’s departure, the Arts Council will continue to focus on the varied programming which has resulted in one of the most successful years in the history of the organization.
The FPNR Board also expresses their deepest appreciation to Erin White, the first Executive Director to serve in this position. She was very instrumental in launching Family Promise of NewRock and has done much to create a strong and vibrant nonprofit organization serving homeless children and families. Erin and her family are moving out of state due to a new career opportunity for her husband.
Family Promise of NewRock is a network of congregations, volunteers, and organizations in Rockdale and Newton Counties working together to provide caring and life changing solutions for children and families facing homelessness.
