Attorney Tynesha Rhodes has had a law office for six years. She first worked as a paralegal, then a lawyer once she passed the bar, at Georgia Law Center for the Homeless. According to Tynesha, her work at the nonprofit was rewarding and she enjoyed her time there. She was pregnant with her first child and she decided it was a good time to work for herself and take cases she wanted to take, and have a little more flexibility with her time. Her husband and she have two children now, ages three and four, and she is enjoying her practice, focusing on family law with a small percentage in Chapter 7 bankruptcy. Her intention is to expand into personal injury cases. Most of her clients are in Rockdale, Newton and Walton counties and Wall Street Conyers is a great location, even for her clients in DeKalb and Henry counties.

“I had been in a smaller office, near Wall Street Conyers, and had been talking to Katie Beam, the Marketing Director at Wall Street Conyers, for a while,” said Tynesha. “I wanted to move into Wall Street Conyers, where the offices are well kept and really stand out with their fresh paint, clean look, and beautiful landscaping.”

The space was decorated by Katie and now, instead of a one room office, Tynesha has a suite and plans to grow even larger at Wall Street Conyers, expanding into a three-room suite after one year. According to Tynesha, her office space at Wall Street Conyers has helped her business grow. She says the professionalism and beauty of the office condominiums helps bring in clients.  Plus she’s been able to grow her staff.  She has a paralegal and recently brought in an intern on staff.

Tynesha gives back to the community by volunteering her time and expertise at the Family Law Information Center in Rockdale.  She has also recently been appointed Technology Chairperson at Newrock Legal Society, and she enjoys being active in the community.  Also a member of the Conyers/Rockdale Chamber of Commerce, she plans to become more involved in the organization.
