Sparkmon & Associates, CPAs, Get ‘Trashed’… and Help Save the Planet

Employees at Sparkmon & Associates, CPAs, got trashed recently. About 20 staff members took some time out of their day Friday, May 19, to hit the roadsides along Iris Drive and Salem Gate Road to pick up litter and debris. More than 30 bags of trash were collected in about an hour’s time, with everything from Styrofoam containers, discarded fast food bags, cups, bottles and even a metal pipe and a work boot.

“Sparkmon & Associates is committed to being a good community partner and this was a need that we saw,” said Managing Partner Emmitt White. “We had fun, and at the same time, helped beautify our part of Rockdale County.”

Keep Conyers-Rockdale Beautiful helped in the effort by supplying vests and gloves for Sparkmon employees.
