The Rockdale County Republican Party will host a candidate forum on May 14th at 1:00 pm. The forum will allow citizens to listen to and speak with the candidates just ahead of the May 24th primary. The forum will take place at the VFW Post 5290 in Conyers, located at 1432 VFW Drive, SW in Conyers.

“We are pleased to present these candidates to the community. Elections are very important and this forum will allow candidates one final chance to ask questions and know where the candidates stand on the issues important to them. We are thrilled to help engage our fellow citizens in the election process. We are looking forward to a great turnout,” said Toby Dryer, Chairman

Each candidate will be given an opportunity to meet with the public prior and following the forum. The candidates will give an opening statement, be asked questions by the panelists, and be given time for a closing statement. The questions will be developed by a team of citizens throughout Rockdale and surrounding counties and will include questions submitted by the public. Due to the number of candidates and races in this primary, only contested nonpartisan races and primary races will be included. Candidates in an uncontested primary will be offered an opportunity to give a short presentation and answer questions from the public. Candidates invited include:
