The Rockdale Medical Center’s Volunteer Auxiliary will hold a Gently Used Purse Sale on Feb. 10 & 11, 2016 from 9 am to 6 pm each day in the Hospital’s cafeteria. Use the North Entrance to the Hospital and follow the signs.

Just in time for Valentine’s Day, why not sport a stylish almost-new purse and help out the hospital’s volunteers raising funds to purchase new wheelchairs. The hospital’s Volunteer Auxiliary will be sponsoring a Gently Used Purse Sale in the hospital’s cafeteria on February 10th and 11th from 9 am to 6 pm each day.

Purses will be priced to sell with most being in the $1 to $5 range. All purses are cleaned prior to sale and ready to be walked out on the shoulder of a new owner. If you have gently used purses that you would like to donate for this sale, there are collections boxes set up at the north and east tower entrances of the hospital and in the cafeteria. Donations of purses in good condition will be accepted through Tuesday, February 9th.

The Auxiliary hopes to raise $5,000 for wheelchairs and other equipment needs for the hospital through this sale. The Volunteer Auxiliary is now a non-profit organization so portions of the sale price are tax-deductible. Purchases can be made by cash, check, or via payroll deduction for hospital employees.
