Christmas on the Square began with a literal bang at the Lighting of the Square in Covington, GA. Many in attendance enjoyed a performance by the Oxford Singers prior to the Lighting of the Square. As the lights heralded the arrival of Santa Claus on his fire truck, a stunning fireworks display above the courthouse finished off the event. 12/4 – Winter Wonderland (6 p.m. – 9 p.m.)

Visit with Santa, carolers, trackless train & inflatable, ELF on the Shelf scavenger hunt, S’mores Station, Christmas Open House shopping, children’s craft area, bucket truck rides, letters to Santa and more!

12/5 – Covington Christmas Parade

12/10 – Classic Candlelight Christmas (5:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.)

Carriage rides, Hay rides, make a wreath, ELF on the Shelf scavenger hunt, carolers and more

12/11 – Rudolph the red nosed Reindeer (3 live reindeer hitched to a sleigh) (6 p.m. – 9 p.m.)

Visit with Santa, carolers, trackless train & inflatable, ELF on the Shelf scavenger hunt, S’mores Station, children’s craft area, bucket truck rides, letters to Santa and more! Special entertainment by the Covington Regional Ballet Children’s School at 6:30 p.m.

12/17 – Classic Candlelight Christmas (5:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.)

Carriage rides, Hay rides (on 12/3 and 12/10 only), make a wreath, ELF on the Shelf scavenger hunt, carolers and more!

12/18 – How the Grinch stole Christmas (GRINCH Arrives) (6 p.m.- 9 p.m.)

Visit with Santa, carolers, trackless train & inflatable, ELF on the Shelf scavenger hunt, S’mores Station, children’s craft area, bucket truck rides, letters to Santa and more!

Handicap Parking Available at BB&T and Golf Cart Shuttle Provided by Fat Boy’s Golf Carts to transport from outer parking areas. #ChristmasinCovington #ilovecovga
