Register now for a full-day of summer drama camp at Ebenezer United Methodist Church in Conyer. The summer drama camp is being held July 10-14, 9am-5pm with a performance on Friday at 7pm. This camp is for Rising 3rd Graders through college.
The tuition is $125 when paid-in-full by June 1st or $150 Tuition after June 1st. Breakfast, lunch, and t-shirt are included. Drop off begins at 8:45am. Limited space is available! Videos of the previous year’s performances can be found on their FaceBook page.
Artistic Director & Choreographer – Joey Fargár, well-known community director and choreographer, will again (for the fourth year) be the Artistic Director and Choreographer! He is the former Artistic Director of Class Act and the current Artistic Director of Conyers Kids. Joey has taught many accomplished thespians who now work in television/movies, Broadway, and for the All-State Show.
MUSIC DIRECTOR – Tessa Walker is currently a Music Education student at Kennesaw State University. She is a member of the Chamber choir, Women’s choir, and is the vocalist for one of the Jazz Ensembles. Uniquely, Tessa is an active and award winning singer in the Barbershop Harmony Society and Sweet Adelines International organizations. Over the past couple of years, Tessa has had wonderful musical opportunities that have furthered her desire to teach music. She co-founded and directed a local senior citizens choir in Johns Creek, GA. Tessa was also the Assistant Music Director for Theatre 5230’s production of Rock of Ages in the Summer of 2016. She is excited for the future and can’t wait for the next opportunity to share her love of teaching and music.
CAMP ADMINISTRATOR – Sherri Anderson is Ebenezer’s Director of Children’s ministry. She enjoys being involved with her children’s schools and community theatre productions. Sherri is a board member of The New Depot Players where she serves as a supervisor for the youth council’s monthly Cocoa and Coffee Houses. For the past three summers, Sherri has produced drama camps for kids and teens. She is very glad to be part of a fourth year’s drama camp at Ebenezer.
