Rockdale County Public Schools (RCPS) saw more than 440 prospective teachers register for the RCPS Teacher Job Fair on March 4, 2023, hosted at Rockdale Career Academy (RCA).

Administrators from all 22 RCPS were on hand to conduct interviews and offer our Strategic Compensation Plan along with signing bonuses to qualified teachers. Thirty-five prospective teachers signed letters of commitment at Saturday’s event. Candidates were able to complete the application and background check process during the fair with transportation provided by the Office of  School Safety and Student Affairs.

RCPS is focused on attracting, recruiting and retaining the best and brightest educators for Rockdale’s children. RCPS is committed to raising teacher pay, providing bonuses for hard-to-fill positions in Special Education, Secondary Math, Science, Foreign Language and providing “Quality” bonuses for teachers.

The next RCPS Teacher Job Fair will be held April 22, 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at RCA, 1064 Culpepper Drive, Conyers. Attendees can register at www.rockdaleschools.org/jobfair.
