Rockdale County Public Schools (RCPS) celebrated National School Lunch Week October 10-14, 2016 with the theme “Show Your School Spirit.” The week highlighted the importance of healthy school meals and the work of school nutrition employees who feed and care for our children.
RCPS serves more than 4 million meals a year, including lunches, breakfasts, snacks, and summer lunches. On Friday, RCPS hosted special guest servers in school cafeterias, including (pictured) RCPS Superintendent Richard Autry at Hightower Trail Elementary, Conyers Police Department Capt. Derek Parker at Conyers Middle, and Rockdale County Tax Commissioner RJ Hadley at Conyers Middle.
