Peachtree Academy Private School in east metro Atlanta provides students a science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) education. STEM education is a national initiative to prepare students for STEM careers. This sector of the job market continues to grow and Peachtree Academy prepares students to be competitive in STEM fields.
Peachtree Academy builds a program for students interested in these fields:
- FIRST Lego League Robotics Teams,
- Computer programming classes,
- Technology classes that provide hands-on experience with diverse technologies and development of problem solving skills,

All students are engaged in laboratory science experiences beginning in elementary school. Technology courses are offered at the middle and high school level to provide for complex problem solving and in depth study in engineering as it applies to construction, transportation, and manufacturing. Advanced studies support students as they study Sports Medicine working in collaboration with athletic training staff at Georgia Tech.
Peachtree Academy has maintained a commitment to providing a 21st century classroom throughout its history. All classrooms are equipped with interactive technology including interactive whiteboards, tablets, and student quick response systems. Computer labs are used by all students for research and educational programs like STAR/Accelerated Reader. All of our middle and high school students utilize tablets to read texts, for quick research, and to respond to text.
In addition to the STEM program, summer and intersession camps are open to all Peachtree Academy students and community members who want a wide variety of challenging activities for children with a break from the normal routine. We offer Lego camps, science and cooking, nature center, outdoor adventures, math and language boot camps, fine arts, basketball, and much more.
Early childhood programs are a great way for parents to get an early start on their child’s education. Children as young as three months may enroll and enjoy the Peachtree Academy experience. Stimulating language and educational programs are an integral part of the early years of development. Children may progress through the program until Pre-K, as they reach developmental milestones at a much quicker pace due to our outstanding teaching staff. This program is a great gateway to the private school.
