Dispelling this and other myths related to Teen Alcohol/Drug Use

The Rockdale Drug-Free Community (DFC) Coalition will host an educational town hall meeting, open to parents and other concerned citizens about alcohol and drug use among youth. Learn about local efforts to build a strong community coalition addressing this issue.

Cpl. Chad Sims from Conyers Police Department will provide information on current laws and stats related to local youth arrests related to alcohol and drugs. Sgt Franklin, who is in charge of the Explorer Unit, will be there to provide information about the Explorers and the process of enrollment.

Kay Manning with The Council on Alcohol and Drugs will discuss prevention/intervention efforts and be available to answer any questions or concerns.
