High school teacher, Daniel Funt, paid a special visit to Piedmont Academy’s K4 and K5 students since they are studying various parts of the body in their science lesson. He discussed with the young children about the importance of our skeletal system to give our body structure and how the “funny bone” is not a bone but a nerve. He also spoke about what foods to eat to have and keep strong bones. The children were very excited to learn that they all had a “Mr. Bones” inside their body.
