georgiaThere are very few countries in the world that have such diversity and incredible history as the United States of America. There are many states that people can travel and a large number of incredible destinations that anyone can visit to have amazing adventures in many different areas of the country.

Georgia is such a destination. It is for the well-seasoned traveler as well as for family vacation or the leisure trip. It is a wonderful destination in every way for the modern tourists. There are many natural wonders in Georgia which makes it a place worth exploring and enjoying.

The Atlanta airport is the world’s busiest airport causing limitless tourism. Airlines from all over the world offer flights to reach different destinations via the Atlanta airport. Add the outstanding roads and metro system that starts from Atlanta attractions and reaches many beaches, parks, mountains, waterfalls, canyons, and restaurants offering amazing sites. International tourism is high and continuously increasing so it automatically increases the flow of in-state and out-state visitors.

Visit The Martin Luther King, Jr. National Historic Site. Here you can walk in his footsteps, hear his story, visit the home of his birth and where he played as a child. Then, there is The Children’s Museum of Atlanta, founded as a “Museum Without Walls” located in same area. Georgia is the home of Coca-Cola. One would be remiss to not visit the World of Coca-Cola in downtown Atlanta showcasing a wonderful exhibition featuring the history of the Coca-Cola Company. The complex has entertainment, attractions and a tasting center giving the visitor the pleasure of the many different coca-cola beverages from around the world. In the same area is the Georgia Aquarium, the largest aquarium in the western hemisphere. It houses more than 100,000 animals, representing 500 species, all of which reside in 10 million US gallons of marine or freshwater. Within walking distance of these great attractions are numerous family-friendly restaurants.

There are a lot of indoor and outdoor things to do. Georgia is filled with many interesting places that beckons one to learn more by exploring the waterfalls, parks and beaches. It has natural wonders that are famous all around the world. Among the top most are Amicalola Falls State Park, Providence Canyon, Radium Springs, Okefenokee Swamp, Stone Mountain, Tallulah Gorge, and Warm Springs. Every year a crowd of explorers come here to visit these amazing areas.

Gibbs garden is a huge chain of gardens, waterfalls, and water stream where the serenity can be acquired. The Altamaha River, George L. Smith State Park, and Indian Springs are famous for the outdoor entertainments. A natural wonder is the Okefenokee Swamp considered to be the largest freshwater swamp in North America. The Savannah River, Bank of Ogeechee River, and Tybee island light station are spectacular beach areas to visit. Driftwood beach on Jekyll Island is the ideal place for creative people and photographer because it looks like a tree graveyard due to the huge tree logs and branches dropped on the bank.

Stone Mountain, dubbed “the largest exposed piece of granite in the world”, is a spectacular place to visit in the daytime but at night it becomes more amazing with the laser show. During the year many events and festivals are held throughout Georgia. There are agricultural trips with the main activities geared towards enjoying the farm-raised food, ranch management, wine tasting, cotton cultivation, and peanuts.
