"OLD TONY SAILS BANTAM LAKE"

Tony Kolodej is seen piloting his big "C" skeeter on
Bantam Lake in Western Connecticut.
Tony who has been sailing longer than most of us have been alive,
is a familiar face on the ice along with his son Joe.
Over 80 yrs. old, Old Tone and his son Joe
run Marine Fabricators in Branford, Ct. a fabricating and rigging shop for all types of boats

Tony and Joe had some bad luck this weekend ,breaking
a springboard on their beautiful wooden Nite.
Repairs are in progress

A big thank you and a whooo-hooo goes out to Jon Kerr for all his hospitality he has shown to us and all the other iceboaters that have sailed Bantam over the last few weeks. Anyone who has sailed on Bantam knows Jon and Sandy and we are greatful for all that they do and put up with and for all their help.

Welcome to the Western Ct. Ice Yacht & Social Club website. The club consists of hardwater sailors from Connecticut that sail the frozen waters of Candlewood Lake in the Danbury area and Bantam Lake in Litchfield County.
