The Second Annual Home and Garden Expo is schedule on Saturday, April 22, 2023, at the Georgia International Horse Park and will offer activities for the entire family. This is a great opportunity if you are planning to do home improvement or landscaping projects in the future. Local businesses within the community will offer their expertise and highlight their products and services. Additionally, there will be presentations from experts, a plant section, and fun children’s activities.
With over 4,000 people attending last year’s event, huge crowds are expected this year. One of the biggest attractions is Georgia Gardener Walter Reeves, who will present onstage at 11:00am. Walter Reeves is the star of WSB’s Lawn and Garden Show, which is Atlanta’s best source of weekly gardening information. He also writes a popular weekly column of garden tips in the Atlanta Journal-Constitution Living Section, has hosted PBS’ Gardening in Georgia television show, and is the author of several books.
Various experts will be presenting onstage throughout the day while exhibitors specializing in home and garden related industries will be showcasing their products and services. You can expect to see a diverse group of exhibitors such as High Priority Plumbing, Conyers Family Chiropractic, Berkshire Hathaway Home Services Georgia Properties, and East Atlanta-Athens Mosquito Joe. Homeowners, property managers, investors, and others interested in residential services are encouraged to attend and connect with local businesses while gathering information.
“We are excited to bring a fun-filled event like this to our community and are thrilled with the diversity of exhibitors and assortment of activities that we’ll have this year,” said Allie Young, publisher and owner of eMetro Times who is hosting the expo.
A special exhibitor section for plant sales will be included in this year’s expo. Come ready to shop for plants while getting your gardening questions answered from experts such as the Master Gardeners and Nichols Nursery.
The expo will have fun activities for the kids throughout the day. Home Depot will be providing a kid’s workstation. Habitat for Humanity will provide a station for kid’s crafts. There will also be face painting and inflatables.
eMetro Times is thankful to the major sponsors who are helping to bring this event to our community. The major sponsors are High Priority Plumbing, Country Financial, Inspect-All Services, Newton Federal Bank, and Still Lumber.
