IMAG00817 Conyers Middle School-based Civil Air Patrol Rockdale Cadet Squadron 815 made sure the final resting places of veterans in the Green Meadows Cemetery on Ga. Hwy 138 were not forgotten for the holidays. On Saturday, Dec. 12, as part of the Wreaths Across America program, CMS students Sr. Airman Shaun Hannans, Airman Charles Ivey, Airman YaDonnis Hardaway, Airman Brianna Harvey, Cadet Donovan Davis, CMS aerospace programs educator and Cadet Programs Officer Lt. Natalie Hannans, Airman Cherry Beddington, along with members from American Legion Post 77, American Legion Post 77 Auxiliary, the American Legion Riders and a representative from the Sons of the American Revolution Button Gwinnett Chapter put evergreen wreaths on the headstones of veterans from the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, Coast Guard and the POW and other veteran memorials.
