Newton County School System (NCSS) will host a PROBE College Fair at Alcovy High School on Wednesday, September 7, 2016, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. in the school commons area. All Newton County School System high school students are invited to attend. A second PROBE College Fair will be held at the Stonecrest Mall in Lithonia on Thursday, September 1st from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Students can pre-register for either college fair online at www.gotocollegefairs.com and simply print out the registration document with barcode.
PROBE is the organized college fair tour that attracts representatives from non-profit educational institutions to shopping malls, civic centers, and high schools throughout the state of Georgia. Approximately 100 colleges and technical colleges will be represented at this year’s Newton County PROBE Fair. NCSS will release the complete list of colleges attending the PROBE College Fair the week prior to the event.
During the PROBE fair, students and parents will have the opportunity to speak with college representatives on topics such as financial aid, housing, programs of study, admissions requirements, scholarships, and campus life.
“We encourage high school parents and students to attend the PROBE College Fair,” said Dee Maxwell, Alcovy High School Graduation Coach. “This is an excellent opportunity for students and parents to see the many options available to them in terms of colleges, programs of study, and financial aid.”
