I was first introduced to the incredible voice and music of Dar Williams by a great friend of mine, Flint Weiss, in 1993. I've been a huge fan of her ever since. My goal of this page is to inform others of this great talent and to let everyone know about Dar's music. This unofficial page is meant to supplement the official home page for Dar Williams. After touring through Washington DC for a few days one summer, a friend and I stumbled upon the Daughters of the American Revolution Museum. The DAR Museum. I thought that would make a wonderful title for Dar's next album… I told Dar that once at a show here in CT… obviously she hasn't seen the same beauty in the title as I… :- ) But it makes a great title for a place to keep and share information about Dar's career. |
Dar has two, now out of print, cassettes that were released, "I Have No History" in 1990 and "All My Heroes Are Dead" in 1991. Both cassettes were put out by Dar on her own, prior to her signing with a label. They were released only in cassette format.

Most of those copies were given to Dar's family and friends. "All My Heroes Are Dead" copyright 1991 Dar Williams"All My Heroes Are Dead" was, for a long time, available for purchase at her live performances.
