compcheer2Conyers, Ga-Young Americans Christian School Varsity Competition Cheerleaders won the GICAA State Competition on Saturday, Nov. 14th.  The competition was held at Georgia College and State University in Milledgeville.

Their two and half minute routine consisted of a combination of dancing, tumbling, cheer, jumps, and stunting.  They competed against 9 other competitors.

The Varsity Cheerleaders at Young Americans are coached by Laura Johnson.  Johnson stated, “I am so proud of what the girls achieved this competition season. They worked hard and gave 100%. It was great to see their hard work pay off.”
