May 7, 2015 will be the 40th Anniversary of the End of the Vietnam War. In Honor of this historical date, the WALK OF HEROES/Veterans War Memorial will Host a May 6-12, 2015 public event with multiple Ceremonies, static displays and open 24 hours a day, with no parking or entry fees.
The centerpiece will be the VIETNAM MOVING WALL, 3/5 replica of THE WALL in D.C. Four helicopters used during the Vietnam War will be on display, along with a display of combat photography and equipment used, All of the displays are interactive and educational.
The May 6 Braves vs. Phillies baseball game will be a special tribute to the Vietnam Era/Vietnam War Veterans and their families. There is a Commemorative T-Shirt and a Lanyard (red/yellow/green like the Vietnam Service Ribbon). All three of these opportunities have a FLYER available to order each and explaining this endeavor.

All activities, other than the 5/6/15 Braves ballgame, will take place at the WALK OF HEROES, located within Black Shoals Park on Lake Randy Poynter, in North Rockdale County, off GA Hwy. 20, (between Loganville and the Rockdale County Medical Center). Follow the Signs.
Your support is needed to raise the funds necessary for the activities surrounding this event to continue. Due to lack of funding, some activities have been cancelled.
