The Jreamwriter Young Global Citizens Program, Inc. (TJYGCP) is expanding its office space in Wall Street Conyers. The non-profit organization is moving from a 200 square feet office to 1,800 square feet. The organization creates sponsors and fosters creative-arts-education, therapies, online learning alternatives, and global citizenship initiatives that are geared to provide a positive expressive outlet for youth.
“We love Wall Street Conyers and our new space is perfect timing for the launch of our youth summer film camp,” said Asia L. Cheek, Executive Director for The Jreamwriter Young Global Citizens Program, Inc. “We like the other companies here, the space and parking are great, the management is professional and friendly, and it really feels like you are a part of a Wall Street Conyers family.”
According to Asia, the location is great and the amenties, with grocery stores and restaurants nearby, makeit the perfect place.
The oganization’s youth summer film camp is for youth age 12 – 19 years old. The summer program, June 3 – July 12, can accommodate up to 30 youth. The youth will learn how to produce film and will produce a public service announcement (PSA) that raises awareness on the dangers of texting and driving. At TJYGCP, they apply talent to causes in a positive atmosphere. The PSA they produce in this summer camp will run on cable TV and the internet. Actual film crews and actors/actresses will volunteer their time and expertise to work with the youth, and there will be field trips involved, including trips to Georgia Public Broadcasting, East Mountain Studios, and Turner Broadcasting Studios.
