Senator JaNice Van Ness is hosting a neighborhood community meeting for Salem Road area businesses and HOA members. On Tuesday, June 14 at noon, attendees should gather at the Wall Street condominiums upstairs, to discuss several key issues:
- Creating a strong voice to advocate for the needs of our area
- Networking and referring to local businesses within our corridor area
- Making the Salem road corridor a vibrant area to live, work, and play
- Enhancing safety measures and community policing
Improving trash pickup on the roadways and reducing private trash in our commercial dumpsters
- Beautification projects
- 4 lanes is coming to Salem Road – what does that mean for your business?
There are some key issues that are before us, which can make our area of Rockdale even better and that she wants to share those with you. Katie Beam, the previous managing partner for Wall Street condominiums and the Senator discussed the need for such an organization to fight for a stronger business / neighborhood alliance, cleaner streets, the redesign of Salem Road when it is converted to a four lane road system, illegal dumping of trash and improved markings of roadways.
Please mark your calendar for Tuesday, June 14 at noon. The Senator looks forward to seeing you there. Please RSVP to [email protected] so that your email address is on file and can keep you updated on the meetings and information. Please also include your business contact phone number so that she can reach out to you.
