Located in Conyers, Georgia, PowerBody Wellness (PBW) is a full service wellness and weight loss facility focused on fitness, nutrition, and service. Their mission is not only to educate the community about wellness through their fitness and nutritional programs, but to get their members involved in service-related activities that promote the concept of health and wellness while giving back to the less fortunate.
With service activities being very important to them, Powerbody has participated in fundraising for the American Cancer Society, participated and sponsored cancer walks, held local vegetable and food drives within the community, participated in Atlanta’s Mission Race for the Homeless, and sponsored the Delta Gems nutritional seminar. They are open free to the public once per month on their community days, and their members often participate in community walks, runs, and fundraisers in support of healthy lifestyles.
Their fitness program includes an assortment of classes such as boot camp, free personal training, Zumba, cardio fusion, TurboKick, cycling, and ab classes. They also hold monthly nutritional seminars for their members to introduce practical strategies for nutritional education. In addition, they provide classes for Rockdale County Government employees and have expanded their Eating4Results nutrition program nationally.
