In March, Newton County Theme School officers from Student Council, Builder’s Club, and K Club enjoyed a day at Rock Eagle for the “Step Up and Lead” Georgia Student Leadership Conference sponsored by the Georgia Association of Elementary and Middle School Principals, UGA, and Georgia 4-H.
This was a day where students engaged in fun, interactive learning activities while providing leadership opportunities where students apply what they have learn. Workshops included topics on Working as a Team, Communicating Effectively and Understanding Personality Profiles.
