An upscale women’s apparel retail store, called Blair on the Square Boutique, is scheduled to open this September on Covington’s historic Town Square. They will be located at 1115 Church Street, adjacent to Covington’s iconic new Irish Bred Pub.

Blair on the Square Boutique will cater to women who seek classic, stylish apparel for business and casual wear without having to shop outside the community. They will carry numerous, recognizable women’s clothing lines as well as unique gift items for men and the home.

Local resident and owner Angie Blair said, “As a woman, I know how hard it is to find fashionable, stylish apparel women can feel confident and comfortable in without traveling all the way to Atlanta. Covington also seems to be the perfect market for entrepreneurs and that’s why I chose to launch Blair on the Square Boutique here.”

According to its owner, Blair on the Square Boutique will emphasize fashionable, in-style clothing for women, but will offer lines for all ages. Sizes will vary from petites to curvy. They will also offer fashionable and affordable jewelry, shoes, gifts and trends for men and the home.

Blair said she plans to expand the brand in the future, creating more new jobs and contributing even more to the area’s local economy.
