Spicy and Sweet Wings

6 lbs chicken wings, split

4 tbsp chopped garlic

½ cup butter, melted

½ cup honey

¼ cup green hot pepper sauce

4 tbsp grated ginger

4 jalapenos, seeded and chopped

1 tsp salt

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Line two 15x10x1 inch baking pans with nonstick spray foil; set aside.
  2. Bring a large pot of salted water to boiling. Add chicken and garlic. Simmer 8 minutes; drain. Pat wings dry. Transfer to prepared pans. Bake 30 minutes, rotating pans halfway through.
  3. For sauce, in a small saucepan stir together butter, honey, hot pepper sauce, ginger, and salt. Bring mixture to boiling. Reduce heat. Simmer uncovered, 4 minutes or just until sauce is thickened.
  4. Place wings in a large bowl. Add wing sauce; toss to coat; sprinkle jalapenos on top. Serves 10.
