Local filmmaker Jack Moon’s feature length movie, “Social Circle”, received the honor of being an official selection at the Rivercity Underground Film Festival. The festival was held in San Antonio, Texas on December 10th. Rivercity received thousands of films from all around the world. “Social Circle” was one of the only ten films selected in the feature film category.
One of the festival attendees stated, “Jack Moon’s film could easily become a cult classic.” The film is an independent neo-noir dark comedy crime film written, produced, and directed by Jack. It stars Amber McCullough as a small town Georgia investigator who probes into a series of local crimes. It has been submitted to several other film festivals across the US.
Jack has begun doing post production work on his next film, which is set to be another dark comedy. The title of the new film is yet to be released.
