Emetro Times announces the addition of Audra Gerger as an editor to our newspaper. Ms. Gerger will be assisting Allie Young with adding content, reviewing articles prior to print, and providing other feedback regarding technical writing.
Ms. Gerger has worked in management positions for more than 20 years with a successful career in environmental consulting. While in the environmental industry, her responsibilities included communicating details on projects, technical writing, and reviewing documentation. She has been a business owner since 2004 and believes, “There is a need for increased sustainability in our communities and often people think of this only in terms of environmental issues. But for a sustainable community we also need balance with social equity and economic growth. I visualize EMetro Times providing an opportunity for improved sustainability via its communication as a community newspaper.”
Satisfied with her accomplishments in the environmental industry, Ms. Gerger began transitioning into the business management consulting industry in 2011. Ms. Gerger founded 4QR Business Solutions, LLC in 2014 to provide business management consulting and internet marketing. As a consultant, she regularly works with people on developing leadership, communication, and time management skills. She provides written content and design for websites, blogs, and other marketing material. She has written blogs since February 2010 and actively maintains a business and marketing related blog at www.4QRSolutions.com/blog. She states, “I have always been an information sharer and am excited to be involved with a newspaper that wants to communicate positive growth within the community.”
Ms. Gerger has lived in the Conyers area since 1997. “Being a part of the local community is very important to me. I love writing and everything communication–related. So being able to use my technical expertise for communication within the community as an editor with EMetro Times is a Win-Win.” Ms. Gerger is an active member of the Toast of Rockdale Toastmasters club and the New-Roc Charter Chapter of the American Business Women’s Association. She graduated from Leadership Rockdale in 2010 and has volunteered with local organizations such as United Way and Phoenix Pass.
