Local newspaper – eMetro Times, Direct Mail company – About Conyers Magazine, and Charter Television Station – SCBtv, team up to provide a multimedia advertising resource for East Metro Atlanta businesses.
Community advocates Rhett Tucker and Katie Beam were approached by SCBtv to help introduce them to the Rockdale area. SCBtv, Charter Channel 182 will be airing their television programs in over 11,000 homes in Rockdale. SCBtv focuses on programming that features local businesses and helps local non-profit organizations promote themselves on shows like Talk of the Town and Community Spotlight.
Michelle Amara, owner of SCBtv says, “I’m so excited to launch SCBtv in Rockdale and bringing the community together through our programming.”
Wall Street Conyers marketing director, Katie Beam saw an opportunity to bring together local media outlets, eMetro Times, and About Conyers Magazines with SCBtv to form a multi-media collaboration that allows local advertisers a way to incorporate news print, direct mail, and television in their marketing budgets.
eMetro Times publisher Allie Young says, “When Katie Beam invited me to have lunch with her and Lorraine Harrison, I had no idea what we were getting into! After recently taking over management of eMetro Times, I felt that this would be a great way to help local businesses promote themselves in the community.”
“This is an amazing opportunity for small to medium-sized businesses in the area. From working with businesses in the area to provide them with viable marketing plans, adding a television component made sense,” says Lorraine Harrison of About Marketing.
The collaboration, named No-Brainer Advertising, is scheduled to launch in February. No-Brainer Advertising will include affordable ad packages that include all three media formats.
