Join Thomas Chastain, Commissioner Oz Nesbitt, and members of the Rockdale County Sheriff’s Office Thursday, June 30 at 6:00 p.m. for a community crime watch forum at the Veterans of Foreign Wars, 1432 VFW Drive in Conyers.
This county initiative will instruct the community on how to help in reporting suspicious activity and curtailing crime.
“Rockdale citizens play a vital role in assisting our local law enforcement agencies with joint crime prevention efforts throughout the county,” said Chastain.
The sheriff’s office will offer its experience, judgment, and insight into crime deterrence and public safety solutions.
“Our citizens deserve safe neighborhoods and I will work with other leaders and community members to eliminate safety issues that threaten our quality of life,” said Nesbitt. “It is essential that all citizens of Rockdale be aware of the importance of crime prevention and know the impact that their participation can have on reducing crime in our county.”
