On April 26, 2016, the Kimberley Chance Atkins Foundation (KCAF) honored two Rockdale County students interested in pursuing careers in the healthcare field with the Kimberley Chance Atkins Foundation Healthcare Scholarship. Rockdale County High School senior Landy Alvarez and Heritage High School senior Walden Brown were the recipients of the scholarships.
