Heritage High School 2013 graduate, Imani Patterson, is one of Rockdale County’s very own who has been living her dream! Imani Patterson, known on the stage as Imani Ray, went from dancing to singing. She is now performing around Atlanta, in other states and even in other countries.

Imani sacrificed going to college the traditional way, which keeps her from a normal college life. She continues to go after her International Business degree, though it’s taking much longer than her peers so she can focus on recording music and entertaining audiences.

This is the same young lady who everyone waited to see dance at the half-time shows for the Heritage High School Patriots Basketball team. She’s the same young lady that led the Fierce Squad for two years. She is the same young lady who got the dance summer program up and running before she graduated. The program is now led by her former coach.
