Porterdale’s 8th Annual Community Wide Festival, Fanfare, & Fireworks
Join us for activities for all ages, a 4 station bungee spider jump, snow cones, inflatables, train rides, face painting, vendor booths, live music, food, wrestling, fireworks, and adult beverages. Event runs from 11AM to 10PM. More information is available at www.CityOfPorterdale.com.

Oxford’s 2014 City of Oxford July 4th Parade & 175th Birthday Celebration
Friday, July 4th, 10 AM Calling schools, churches, sports teams, businesses, families, civic groups, neighborhood groups or individuals who are ready to share in the celebration: make plans to march, play, ride, sing or dance in the parade. Create a float, decorate a bike, put on a costume and show your community spirit as we celebrate Independence Day and the City of Oxford’s 175th Birthday! 770-786-7004 or www.oxfordgeorgia.org for information.

As the town begins to buzz with live music, local food vendors will be filling the air with the scents of festival food. When the cool of the evening sets in, two stages will give way to nine bands and multiple hours of live music of all types. The music will lead us up to an extraordinary display of fantastic fireworks. After the fireworks, join us for the After Bang Street Dance. Event runs from 5PM to 11PM.
