On February 16, Georgia Power’s Milledgeville Area Manager, Greg Tyson, presented a check on behalf of the Georgia Power Foundation to provide more scholarships for nontraditional students at Georgia Military College (GMC). The Georgia Power Foundation has been awarding scholarships to students at GMC for more than 15 years. Georgia Power and the Georgia Power Foundation have awarded scholarships totaling more than $30,000 to more than 70 non-traditional students at all of GMC’s campuses.
The Georgia Power Foundation scholarship is open to any non-traditional GMC student with a 2.0 GPA or above.
