On Saturday, April 23, 2016, the First Annual Home & Garden Expo was held at the Georgia International Horse Park. Almost 4,000 attendees were presented a varied selection of home and garden vendors from residential service companies like High Priority Plumbing and Mister Electrician to building supply companies like Still Lumber, Fieldstone Center, Window Concepts and Cabinets & Countertops.

Presenters such as Walter Reeves, the Georgia Gardener, and a free children’s workshop sponsored by Home Depot, attracted families of all ages. The free event was hosted by a media collaboration between About Marketing and City Home.

“We wanted to bring a fun-filled event like this to our community and we’re amazed by the amount of support that we have received. It just goes to show how much events like this are needed in the east Atlanta area,” said Allie Young, publisher and owner of City Home.

“About Marketing is proud to help bring this event to East Metro Atlanta,” said Lorraine Harrison, owner of About Marketing. “We’re looking forward to an even better expo next year.”

As vendors and attendees alike asked about a Fall Expo, the hosts shared that the show is already booked at the Georgia International Horse Park for Spring in 2025.
