Jimbo’s Bar and Grill welcomed the 5th Annual “We Ride To Provide” event, to their parking lot in Porterdale, Georgia, on Saturday, June 1st, 2013. “We Ride To Provide” is a Non-Profit Organization, founded in 2009 by Leutinant Jason Cripps and his wife, Holly.
The organization held its motorcylce K9 memorial ride, in honor of the fallen K9 officers through out Georgia. Money raised at the ride and through out the year, is donated to help officers purchase equipment, that otherwise may not be afforded. Two Belgium Melonois puppies, were generously donated to two seperate counties, who have recently lost their K9s. Eighteen fallen K9 heroes were honored at this years event, by a truly heart touching, and tearful ceremony, and flags flown behind many motorcycles through Newton County. Many thanks to officers, families, handlers, and trainers, who provide homes for these working K9s who work to protect and serve in our communities.
