At least 200 Rockdale seniors are expected to benefit from Commissioner Oz Nesbitt’s Senior Citizens Thanksgiving Turkey Drive.
In past years, seniors lined up early for this signature food item that makes it a traditional holiday meal.
Nesbitt says he is sincerely appreciative to all who give their time every year to help the community.
“There is much to be thankful for and I am grateful to the people who make all of this come together for our seniors,” said Nesbitt. “It feels great to be giving away turkeys again this year.”
The turkey drive kicks off on November 15. Courtesy Ford, 1636 Dogwood Drive, is the drop-off location for those who would like to donate a turkey.
