Get ready for a family-friendly, fall tradition. Sponsored by the City of Conyers, the 36th Annual Olde Town Conyers Fall Festival is on Saturday, October 22, 2016 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. As the oldest running festival in Conyers, the day is anticipated to be packed with fun-filled activities including over 60 arts and crafts vendors, festival food, entertainment on two stages, a costume contest and kid’s activities.
Once again this year, eMetro Times is excited about sponsoring the children’s and pet’s Halloween costume contest. The costume contest will be held at 12 p.m. at the Depot stage. Prizes will be given out for the best costumes!
The City of Conyers put a lot of planning into this year’s festival to make it the best it can be. They take pride in the quality of vendors, artists and entertainers that are lined up. Each one had to meet strict requirements for acceptance that help to keep the festival going strong. As a result, over 60 vendors from all over the south bring their finest handmade items to sell.
Make plans to attend this street festival in Olde Town. Proceeds from the festival will help support local organizations, artists and craftspeople. The event is scheduled on Saturday, October 22nd from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 901 Railroad Street in Conyers. Parking and admission are free.
