Local Businessman Muddessar Ahmad, along with his friends and family, have started a campaign to show their support for the men and women in uniform. The “Ahmad’s Award” is sponsored by the Shell Station at 1057 West Avenue, Conyers, GA 30012 (the corner of West Avenue and Green Street). The winners for the month of January are Investigator Brandi Jones and Investigator John Fort. They both received a $250 gift card.

Sheriff Eric Levett said, “This demonstration shows our community is together. We are stronger together because of people like Mr. Ahmad. Demonstrations like this and people like him make our county better, makes our community better, makes our country better.”

Ahmad is also working with Fire Department where each month one employee will get $250 gift card. RCPS foundation is also been contacted to start 11 awards every month, One award will be given to a teacher at each elementary School in the county.
