We got tired of reading about DUIs and violent crimes in our local papers and decided to spread good and positive news in the East Metro Atlanta area. There’s some great things happening in our communities and it’s time someone shared the love.
Previously the Olde Town Times, we’re still the same “Good News” paper! We changed the name to better reflect the areas we service – DeKalb, Rockdale, Newton, Walton, Morgan, and Greene counties

It’s hard to believe that it has been three years since I published the first edition of this paper. I may have a lot more gray hair, but one thing that hasn’t changed is my commitment to publish only “Good News” about the east Metro region.
Because of loyal readers like you eMetro Times is now the largest circulation newspaper in Newton or Rockdale Counties. Yes, you read that right. June also marks the “birth” of our online interactive newspaper pages.cthome.net.
