Can you smell it in the air? I sure can. This Masters golf tournament more so than any get’s my juices flowing. It’s hard to believe that Amen Corner is just around the corner. As you remember, Jordan Spieth took home the Green Jacket.

What you probably don’t remember is that Phil Mickelson came in 2nd..His only top ten finish was the highlight of his year. Golf is a funny sport unless you’re doing it for a living. Then it becomes no joke. You hear all the success stories on TV but they are truly far and few compared to all the dreams that become nightmares on the tour. It really makes you appreciate how good these guys really are.

So who do you think will take this year’s Green Jacket? Jordan, Rory, Adam or maybe a new face and name from out of the blue will appear? That’s who I have my money on. I love to pull for the underdog in any sport. Everybody has their favorite teams and players but it’s nothing like watching someone do something no one expects. Don’t get me wrong, let Phil get in the last group on Sunday and that entire underdog theory will go out the window.

That being said I must address my last article. In the rare event that you read last month’s article, for some odd reason I decided not only to give golf advice but advice on marriage as well. I felt comfortable my wife would never read the article but failed to realize my beautiful, sweet, wonderful, ageless-looking mother-in–law reads it religiously.
