During the month of May several Olde Town Conyers merchants will be lending their hands to support charity. Starting off the month The March of Dimes will be hosting a 3.2 mile walk on Saturday May 10th. Registration for the walk begins at 8:00 AM with the walk starting at 9:00 AM from the Olde Town Conyers Pavilion. Please call Karenda Martin at 404-457-7265 if you have any questions.

Ending off the month with a bang The Black Cat Curio Co., Escentually Yoursand The Celtic Tavern will bring you “ The 1st Annual Bragging Rights BBQ Festival ”. The event will be held on Saturday May 31st in Olde Town Conyers. The event will open at 11:00 AM for a day filled with music, food, vendors, a demonstration from the Rockdale County Sheriff’s Dept. K-9 Unit and all around fun for all.  The day will culminate at 5:30 PM with the announcement of the BBQ contest winners.

Entries will compete for “Bragging Rights” in the categories of Ribs, Brisket and Chicken as well as for the title of “Overall BBQ Champion”. A portion of the proceeds from this event will go to support both The March of Dimes and The Rockdale County Sheriff’s Dept. K-9 Unit.
