Peachtree Academy held it’s Annual Fundraising Gala on April 20. The event featured a cocktail reception and Prime Rib dinner catered by Plain Nuts Catering. Entertainment included silent and live auctions, dancing and a $5,000 reverse raffle for one lucky ticket holder. The school is excited to report that Tom Harrison was the winner of the $5,000 prize.
He was kind enough to make a donation to the annual scholarship fund with some of the proceeds from the prize. The event raised money for the expansion of the robotics program, art and band programs, student scholarships, expansion of the Conyers campus and the completion of the football field. Lead business sponsors this year included SEC, Asurety Construction Services, ShareCare, Strictly Mechanical, BB&T, Charleston Lewis & Associates, Pawn Depot, and Claron Metals.
Tom Harrison said, “Peachtree Academy plays an integral part in the education of children in our community and supporting their efforts is important.”
