"Spirits are
Sleeping"

It was in
moments of clarity like this one when Orson most doubted
the patient’s
diagnosis. After all, he did appear relatively normal
and rational, not prone
to bursts of emotion or violence, he was calm, collected
and sure of himself.
"Stories are important, Orson. Life is a
collection of stories. And if we don’t remember
our lives, and don’t share the stories of our lives,
then what does any of
it matter? It seems awfully selfish to live your whole
life, and to keep it all a big
secret."
"Oh yeah, so what is my story about?"
"Your story? Why Doctor, it’s the same as the
rest of us. It’s about relationships,
characters, experiencing different events and similar
events, having different
perspectives, sharing..."
"Oh, life is so mundane. You, Mr. Jones are the
romantic!"
"Yes, absolutely. But then again, I know God
personally, and that does alter one’s
perspective!"
