 Our 12TH

LANTERN TOUR
The Trial of Martha Johnson

                                                      It's 1888.
Martha Johnson of Stafford Springs has apparently shot her husband.  But did she really do it?  Why?  Is she (as her lawyer says) insane? And will we be able to visit her in the county jail, where she awaits her fate?

An all-new script, based on multiple newspaper accounts of a real crime that took place in Tolland County, and a trial that happened right here in the Tolland County Courthouse and Jail.
We'll visit both, along with the Hicks family home and the Town Hall, following the details on this "breaking story" of 120 years ago.
