Outreach
The mission of outreach at Saint Saviour’s Church is to actively support
people in need – both locally and around the world. We work to achieve
our mission through outreach grants and personal contact. We also seek opportunities
for fellowship with members of area parishes. Our hope is to build relationships
that might afford us the opportunity for shared mission activity in the future.
A reminder! If you know of parishioners in need, or if you have concerns about a parishioner, please speak with me. You can help me a great deal this way. Victoria
Please remember those in our community who are hungry. Fill a bag for the Lower Fairfield County Food Bank with
canned vegetables (low sodium, if possible)
canned fruits (light syrup)
canned tuna
cereal and oatmeal
peanut butter and jelly
juice boxes
Parmalat milk
tomato sauce and pasta
rice and beans
Leave your donations in the front lobby of the church, and the Food Bank will pick them up. There are brown paper bags in the lobby if you would like to take a few to fill. Any bag will do.
Many thanks.

The Companions in Mission Committee of The Episcopal Diocese of Connecticut is planning another mission trip to The Diocese of Colombia, February 13 – 20, 2009. Participants will visit the Caribbean coast, engage in a limited medical mission, perform some minor church repair, and learn about the people and mission of the Diocese. If you are interested, please contact Mark Pendleton at mpendleton@ccathedral.org (860-527-7231).
