and your help would be greatly appreciated.
VESTRY

forms are available in the back of the Church this morning. Nominations
are due in the parish office by 1 December.
If you have any questions about serving on Vestry please see Fr. Torrey.
LITURGICAL
PRACTICE AND THE RISK OF INFECTION: In light of the current flu season this is a good time to highlight
health issues involved around participating in the liturgy. All social interaction poses a minor health
risk. Both passing the peace and receiving communion fall with in the
parameters of this normal risk. A
pamphlet is available in the back of the church if you would like more
information. Hand sanitizer has been
placed in each pew for your use. For the
protection of parishioners who have weakened immune systems, if a person
remains seated during the peace this is a signal that, for their own safety,
they should not be in close contact with anyone. Please acknowledge them from a distance.
OPENING
THE DOORS OF ST. JOHN’S:
As an act of hospitality and a sign of Christ’s presence in our
community, the Vestry has voted to leave the doors of St. John’s open during
the day. Fr. Torrey will be responsible
for opening and closing the church.
OUTREACH
FUNDING:
Some parish outreach Funds will be distributed at the December Vestry
Meeting. If you would like to have a non
profit agency considered for funding please send as much information about the
agency as you can to the parish office by 9 December.
ALTAR GUILD
MEMBERS: Please bring back any linens
you have as soon as possible.
FATHER
TORREY WILL BE AWAY this Wednesday through Sunday. If there are any Pastoral emergencies
please call the church office and Deacon Donna will be monitoring the answering
machine and will get back to you.
PLEASE WEAR YOUR NAME TAGS SO
THAT VISITORS (AND PARISHIONERS) KNOW WHO YOU ARE. IT IS AN ACT OF HOSPITALITY.
