Winds Of Change

With the coming of a new Millennium there are many people talking about change.  What these changes will be and how they will affect society as a whole differ as greatly as the people who believe in them.

  Some say the “end times” are near, some think theY2K bug will reek havoc on the masses, still others believe that a “New Age” of peace and understanding is just around the corner.  Regardless of what you think the next century will hold, there is one commonality among us all.  Change.

I’ve been receiving a number of e-mails in which people are experiencing strange occurrences on an increasing level.  Being a Paranormal Investigator I’ve dealt with many cases of  “bizarre happenings” but I have to admit that there seems to be an increase in the amount and frequency of paranormal events.  Over the past 2 months I’ve been doing research on this and have come up with some theories of my own.

  One theory is that with the coming of the new Millennium people have shifted their own energies, they’re more in tune with their own spirituality.  The Christians may feel that the time of tribulation will be soon at hand. Others are apprehensive of the Y2K bug and how this may affect their lives. Some may feel impending doom associated with tension between World Governments. In any case there are vast numbers of people lending their apprehensions to the cosmic flow of energy that affects us all.  It seems only natural that those of us that are in tune with “Cosmic Flow” would be feeling a bit restless ourselves.

  Another theory of mine is that perhaps the veil between this dimension and the next is being thinned and is progressively dissipating.  With this would come an increase of paranormal events.  People would experience phenomena beyond their current comprehension.  People may turn to alternative religions seeking answers to the questions mainstream faiths just cant answer.  Reality may reinvent itself at a rapid pace.  There would be an increase in lucid dreams (waking and sleeping), an increase in inspired thoughts bringing with it an influx of new ideas and inventions.  Also heightened awareness of the senses and a new understanding of space and time.

  It’s been my experience that it’s not just the “New Agers”, Psychics or Occultists that are feeling this shift. Every day mainstream society type people are talking about it.  The year 2000 may come and go without any incident at all but if it doesn’t, standing at the dawn of a new age or waiting for earth-shattering events, we are all in this together.

My own personal wish for the future would be that we never lose sight of that fact. What we do to each other we do to ourselves, One Planet One race the human race.  One thing that is certain is, there is something in the air, a shift in Global consciousness.  It’s as if the whole world is holding its breath, waiting and watching, for what, no one really knows.

While the questions are many…
