Invitation Only? Whats up with that?
The main complaint last year was that there was too much waiting. This should also help keep the size of the group manageable. I expect see about 30 riders.

Is there an entry fee?
Yes. Register on BikeReg.com. EMAIL me to request an invitation. You have a valid USCF license and the entry fee is $10 to cover insurance and gas for the follow car. The rest of the money will be used for pizza and beer at Jordans
Where can I get a map of the ride?
There is no map. If riders know where they are going, they will ride ahead... and people WILL get lost. Keeps the group more cohesive and keeps it FUN!

How long is the ride?
The distance is 90km. It should take about 3hrs and 30minutes of ride time and potentially could take over 4 hours of wall time. (NO FLATS!!!) 4000+ft of climbing.
Where is Southbury, CT?
Southbury is 15 miles east of Danbury, CT along the I-84 corridor. 70 miles north of NY City.
What bike should I bring?
It is recommended to be on a cyclocross bike. There are three sections that are tough on a road bike, but definitely doable. Gearing of 39x25 is recommended..... if you got more... bring it!
How much food and water should I bring?
This ride is rated at 2 bottles 
and 2 bars 
Is this a race? Will I get dropped?
This is not a race. We will wait for everyone....... but..... not too long :)
What type of shape should I be in?
USCF Category 1,2,3 riders with some basic level of fitness will be fine.
Do I need to bring spare tubes?
There will be driving a follow car (make sure you say Thanks!) Bring tubes, Spare wheels and anything else you might need to expedite any repairs
Do I need wheels for the follow car?
The theory behind the follow car is to expedite the potential waiting for flats. Please bring an extra set of wheels for the follow car.
How much dirt is there?
There are about 24 sectors accounting for about 75% of the ride. LOTS OF DIRT!!!
Can I see a picture of Badger and Idone?
Beer and Pizza?
Yes, We will be going to Jordan's for Pizza and Beer after the ride.
Are there any stops along the way?
The Roxbury Market will be open. We will stop there for 10 minutes to regroup and refuel. Bring MONEY!
